INCITE - 2024 for BCA Freshers

The Department of Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) at GSS College, Belagavi, organized the annual freshers' party, INCITE 2024, to welcome the new batch of first-year BCA students. The event was a celebration filled with enthusiasm, joy, and the promise of new beginnings.

Chief Guest:
Mrs. Chetana Sarang, Founder & CEO of Dattamsh Edtech LLP, Belagavi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In her inspiring speech, she shared valuable insights on setting career goals, acquiring essential skills, and making the most of opportunities in the field of technology, motivating the new students to strive for excellence.

Guest of Honour:
The Guest of Honour, Shri Sandeep Tendolkar, Member of the SKE Society, addressed the gathering with words of encouragement for the students, emphasizing the importance of dedication and perseverance in achieving success.

President of the Function:
Prof. Arvind Halgekar, Principal of GSS College, presided over the event. In his presidential address, he welcomed the new students to the GSS family and highlighted the college's commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating academic environment.

Event Highlights:
The party featured a series of entertaining and interactive activities, ensuring full participation and engagement from the freshers.
Mr. and Miss Fresher 2024: The much-anticipated Mr. and Miss Fresher titles were awarded , respectively, after rounds of fun and challenging competitions designed to showcase their talents, confidence, and charm.

Prize Distribution:

Various prizes were awarded to students who participated in and excelled at different activities and competitions throughout the event. The winners were acknowledged for their enthusiasm and creativity in games such as dance competitions, quizzes, talent shows, tresure hunt, communication, fireless cooking etc.. adding a spirit of friendly competition to the celebrations.

Event Coordinators:
The event was coordinated by Prof. Shweta Dalvi, BCA Coordinator, and Prof. Rajashri Kulkarni, Event Coordinator. Their efforts ensured the seamless execution of the program.
