GSS BCA CODEATHON 2025

Unlock your Coding Protential

GSS BCA, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully hosted a 24-hour Codeathon on February 14th–15th, 2025, at the GSS BCA Campus. This intense coding challenge aimed to enhance students’ technical expertise, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities in a competitive environment.

Chief Guest & Resource Persons

We were honored to have Mr. Abhishek N. Nazare, Assistant Training & Placement Officer at Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of coding skills in today’s industry and the need for students to align their knowledge with real-world expectations.

Inauguration & Encouragement

The event was inaugurated by Principal Prof. Abhay Samant and BCA Coordinator Miss Shweta Dalvi, who motivated participants to push the boundaries of innovation. Their words inspired students to think critically and build practical web-based solutions.

Competition Structure

The Codeathon was structured into multiple rounds:
MCQ Round – Testing fundamental coding concepts.
Overnight Web Application Development – Teams worked overnight to develop innovative web applications.
Final JudgingMr. Sanket Netalkar evaluated the projects based on creativity, functionality, and real-world applicability.

Participation & Winners

A total of 22 teams participated in this high-energy competition. The winning teams were:
🏆 WinnersSahil Patil, Ketan Raikar, and Tushar Kundekar (BCA 6th Semester)
🥈 Runners-upSumit Singh, Tejas Rokhade, and Om Patil (BCA 6th Semester)

Winners were awarded certificates, trophies, and cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding performance.
