It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to SKES’ Govindram Seksaria Science College (GSS). Our campus is a temple of learning with an impetus on the holistic development of our students encompassing academics, sports, co-curricular and extra curricular activities. GSS College is an institution that prides itself on providing a number of educational programmes and projects by drawing on the strengths of the staff, students and parents. Enthusiastic participation is encouraged in an extensive range of extra curricular activities along with a number of social awareness projects, imbibing the students with a sense of human values, social responsibility, commitment and empathy.

The last couple of years have been tumultuous for everyone, especially the student community, due to the coronavirus pandemic. However it has not been able to stop the transmission of knowledge as we embraced online platforms of teaching learning as well as blended mode of education, so that students do not miss out on higher education in their formative years. With the vision and mission of our institution as a guide, GSS College has continued to evolve with every passing year since 1948. The ever motivating environment at GSS for acquiring knowledge, promoting creativity and the strive for excellence, gives the Seksarians ample scope to hone their skills and polish their talents to meet any future challenges. We endeavour to improve and update our students, while making sure they gain analytical and communication skills.

As the principal of this institution, which has built its reputation over more than 7 decades, I would like to emphasise the commitment of the college and staff who continuously work towards providing all round education for our students.
