The Department of BCA at GSS College hosted an enriching Workshop on Python and the Django Framework on 12th and 13th November 2024, exclusively for Final Year BCA students. Workshop Highlights:
The workshop was led by expert trainers from Softmusk, who provided a comprehensive introduction to the Python programming language and the Django web development framework.

The BCA Department of GSS College successfully organized an engaging workshop on Front-End Web Development focusing on Responsive Web Design on 24th October 2024. Workshop Highlights:
The session provided an in-depth understanding of essential front-end technologies, including:
HTML/CSS – The building blocks of web design.
Bootstrap – A powerful framework for creating responsive and mobile-first websites.
AOS (Animate on Scroll) – Adding interactive animations triggered by scrolling.
Animate.css – Simplified CSS animations for web elements.

The workshop was conducted by Prof. Girish S. Mattikop, who shared his expertise and hands-on knowledge in modern web design techniques.

Rubicon’s “Connect with Work” Program, supported by Barclays in collaboration with GSS College, BCA section conducted training session from 30th May 2023 to 2nd June 2023 in the GSS College Campus for the students of GSS BCA.
The Program started with an inauguration function. Mr.Jeevan Bodas, Director BCA Section welcomed the gathering followed by introduction to the trainer Mr. Chaitanya Halgekar. Shri B. L. Majukar Principal GSS College, in his remarks informed the importance of soft skill and various job opportunities in the field of IT. The topics like Expectation setting, Organisational structure, SWOT Analysis, Corporate Jargon's, Public speaking, Presentation skill etc. were covered during the training sessions. On fourth day, the session was concluded with the valedictory function where students gave their feedback about the training session.
A hands-on workshop on “UI-Design” was organized for the students of GSS BCA on 27th and 28th May 2022. Mr. Ajeet Pattar and his team trained our students on designing user interface for web development. After this workshop students will be able to:
1. Create web page using html and css.
2. Use bootstrap for web development.
3. Use Java Scripts (JS) in web pages.
4. Use Jquery in web pages.
One of the objective of this workshop is to develop web programming skills of the students so that, the students can apply these acquired skills in developing their academic projects.
