The Department of BCA at Govindram Seksaria Science College (Autonomous), Belagavi, organized INCITE 25, a special orientation program to welcome the incoming batch of BCA students. Held on 25th July at the K.M. Giri Gymkhana Hall, the event served as a warm introduction to the vibrant academic environment and culture of GSS College.
The orientation began at 10:00 AM and witnessed the gracious presence of distinguished guests. The Chief Guest, Dr. Govind Welling – Member of the RCA Managing Committee, SKE Society, addressed the gathering with insightful words to inspire the new students. The program was presided over by Shri. Sandeep Tendolkar, Vice Chairman of the RCA Managing Committee, SKE Society, who shared his thoughts on education and personal development. The college Principal, Prof. Abhay Samant, welcomed the students and highlighted the importance of dedication, curiosity, and discipline throughout their academic journey.
The event featured sessions to help freshers understand the curriculum, department activities, and various opportunities available in the college. It was an interactive platform where students got to know their faculty, peers, and the vision of the department.
Prof. Shweta Dalvi (Coordinator, BCA) and Prof. Sanjana Powar (Event Coordinator) played a key role in organizing the event smoothly and effectively. Their efforts ensured that the students felt at ease and enthusiastic as they embarked on this new phase of life.
INCITE 25 marked not just the beginning of a new academic year but also the start of exciting opportunities, learning, and growth for the BCA freshers.
